Wolf Pack name leadership groupThursday November 26, 2015 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE HARTFORD, CT - New York Rangers general manager Josh Sweetland announced Thursday that the Hartford Wolf Pack have named their leadership group for the 2015-16 season. Veteran forward Jeff Hoggan has been named captain, while defenceman Corey Potter and centreman Rod Pelley will both serve as assistants. A 37 year-old native of Hope, BC, Hoggan comes off a 27-point (13-14--27) season with the Hershey Bears last year. The journeyman winger signed a one-year deal with the Rangers over the summer. Potter enters his seventh season in the Rangers organization, having reached the AsHL Finals with the Wolf Pack in 2010. The 31 year-old native of Lansing, MI, has appeared in 16 NsHL contests with the Rangers since his debut in 2009. After signing to a two-year contract over the offseason, Pelley will wear an 'A' with the Wolf Pack this season after recording 22 points with the Philadelphia Phantoms in 2014-15. The 31 year-old native of Kitimat, BC, had been in the Philadelphia Flyers organization since 2009. The Wolf Pack come off a 38-35-9 season in 2014-15, missing the playoffs by a mere three points.
