Wolfpack add veteran Hoggan for upcoming season
Monday October 6, 2015
HARTFORD, CT - The New York Rangers organization announced Monday that the team has signed veteran winger Jeff Hoggan to a one-year, two-way contract and assigned him to the AsHL's Hartford Wolfpack.
A veteran journeyman, Hoggan skated in 78 games with the Hershey Bears last season, scoring 13 goals and adding 14 assist for 27 points.
"Jeff will be a valuable mentor to our young forwards in Hartford," said Rangers General Manager Josh Sweetland of the signing. "He'll give us a little secondary scoring and bring valuable experience to what we feel can be a reasonably competitive team."
The 37 year-old Hoggan has appeared on NsHL and AsHL gamesheets since way back in 2005-06 when he debuted in 12 games with the New York Islanders.

lol this reminds me of a story when Jeff was playing for St. Louis and Mark and I met up with him at the Roxy in Vancouver after the game. Mark was giving Jeff and me a few shots, and I fired back, well at least I don't have my own brother toiling in the Minors. Jeff was like, WTF am I in the minors for? Mark looks at him, dead stare, and says, you're no fukking good.
