Tournament starts tonight. Pick a winner and if you feel so inclined, mention what prospects you've got on each team.
Colorado has a dog in every fight: Michael Dal Colle - Oshawa Josh Morrissey - Kelowna Adam Erne - Quebec Jan Kostalek - Rimouski

No prospects on these four teams for the Anaheim Ducks. You are guaranteed to have ONE prospect that has a Memorial Cup to his name, Pat! Good stuff. I'll take Oshawa in this coin flip. I think defense and goaltending win championships.

I'm picking Kelowna just for NJ's lone rep, Tyrell Goulbourne

I don't recall ever being this excited about the Memorial Cup. Four very good teams going at it!
My lone prospect in the tourney is Oshawa's Matt Mistele. I did pick Oshawa to win, but not because of my prospect (though he has been good at putting the puck in the net lately).
To me, it feels like Kelowna should win but Oshawa will win. Don't sleep on Rimouski though. They have plenty of punch up front to go along with Morin and Kostalek on the back end. Very good group.
Would love to see a seven game series between Kelowna and Oshawa. Alas, I will settle for a couple games between them. I have a feeling Appelby will hold up in net for Oshawa, taking down Kelowna to win it.

I have never been fond of Appleby's, slow service and weak food.

Nice dialogue we have going here. Surprised you don't have any prospects in this tournament, Mark. You've got quite the list and it'll only look that much better once one of McEichel shows up on it for a season. Agreed on many points, Gorbs. It's anyone's tournament. Maybe we should all petition the dear Dallas GM to put together some prospect clips of our players. I know Morrissey and Erne kept him busy yesterday.

There's an unfortunate media blackout this year on players not in the Dallas organization. I, however, have enjoyed some conversations with Patrick Roy, Leon Draisaitl and Marc-Edouad Vlasic.

A bit late voting now I will admit... but Oshawa looks like the team to beat... However, the Leafs are cheering for Kelowna and their prospects Rourke Chartier and Justin Kirkland.

No doubt that Oshawa should be the favourite. Especially after they dismantled McJesus and the rest of the Otters. Having three guys, DJ Smith, Eric Wellwood and Greg Nemisz, as coaches that all won two Memorial Cups with Windsor in '09 and '10 only increases their chances. That experience is invaluable in a tournament like this. The players just buy in to everything they say so much easier.

I don't know what you're talking about, Scott. I was pretty sure Eric Wellwood was producing solid two way numbers for the Denver Spurs right now...
Please tell me you told Roy that he's your coach and Draisaitl and Vlasic that they're on your fantasy team.
