Hey everyone,
I am interested in joining an active and dedicated General Manager as a new Assistant.
I've spent a majority of my life involved in fantasy hockey in some capacity and I have developed strong analytic capabilities in the process. I particularly enjoy hunting for high-reward reclamation projects and also snatching under-hyped future assets on draft day.
I currently reside in Toronto, Canada and I'm a Montreal Canadiens super-fan.
Give me a chance to add a bonus advantage to your team and I can assure you that I won't disappoint.
For quick communication, email me at: CP31badhab@gmail.com and it will push to my BlackBerry.
Cheers,
Rob W. #GOHABSGO

I have completed the application.
If there is no full GM spot available, I am happy to join as an Assistant to someone who is looking to have a big off-season.
Examples: a team with many draft picks that is looking for an extra (skilled) set of eyes or, a team with many UFA's.
I will even join as an assistant to the assistant if it gets me some competition.
Anyone?

Badhab,
We work pretty quick here in the NsHL. Our Commissioner should be contacting you within a few days. Right now our season is about to enter the playoffs so the timing of adding an Assistant may not be the best for a lot of GMs, however, I know a few GMs that are looking for an assistant GM/Minor league GM. Also, another intelligent set of eyes is ALWAYS helpful around draft day (Saturday July 11 beginning at 11AM) so hang in there as the application is processed. Thanks for looking us up!!!!
I know I am biased but there is not a better, more quality group of GMs than what the NsHL has to offer. We are entering the close of our 12th season and were founded in the Fall of 2003. Our yearly drafts are highly attended (have had as many as 16 out of 30 GMs at one table) and have even included a draft in Las Vegas two years ago for our 10th anniversary. We hope to go back for our 15th anniversary. Once again, thanks for looking us up!

Saving my nickels for Vegas already. Would save the pennies but they got rid of them up here.

Hey gentlemen, thank you for the response. I'm still waiting for someone to officially show interest in my services.
The league sounds amazing... I'm so glad that I found this because you all have built something very special here and I'm confident that I can contribute towards continued successful outcomes.
As an assistant, I'm not looking to run your team. I am a team player and I play my position. I really am just looking for a mentor to show me the ropes and answer my 'noob'ish questions.
What I can offer in return is: - innovative & unique analytic research (usually presented via Excel) - dedication & loyalty - administrative excellence - a proven track record of high return results from draft day - speedy response times via email and text - sober second opinion on strategies and decisions related to hockey operations - bi-weekly team updates/blogs - proficiency in the area of goaltender scouting and analysis - more!
I'm not trying to sound like a broken record here, but take a chance on me! You have nothing to lose.
Cheers,

Excellent resume. Like I said in previous posts, we are entering the post season at the moment so the timing of becoming an AsHL GM or an Assistant may be a bit tricky for a lot of us. I will be MORE THAN happy to hire you as a draft consultant at the very least. Perhaps we can see about more responsibilities. My email is makopsack@yahoo.com. My name is Mark Kopsack. My team is the Anaheim Ducks and the Louisville Thunder. I am an original GM and one of the Founding Fathers of the NsHL. I also handle a significant portion of contracts as I am a member of the NsHLPA. Please email me and we can get started. Mark

No better place to start a nshl career than with Mark. A great organization with a great leader.

Thanks, Nate (Ottawa)...I'll give you the $20 bucks later. After the email I sent him, he may be terrified.....Just trying to get him up to speed in a hurry.

Congrats on the gig. Looks like I saw this a bit late as I would have definitely considered adding you as an AGM. Good luck with the Ducks.
