Are the B-Sens showing true colors over the course of this recent three game losing streak?
Can Binghamton turn this bad streak into a positive before it's too late?
Losses to Jacksonville, Norfolk and Hartford have created quite the stir here in Binghamton.
Fans are not happy, and are not showing up like they once were.
Those who do show up, well:
"What on God's green earth has gone on here in Binghamton? And speaking of green, where is my bowl?" This coming from a conference call via an AsHL Press Release from GM Anthony Curatolo of the Binghamton Senators.
"Three losses, all in succession, to three lousy teams, in three different buildings!" stated the frustrated GM ::a lighter is heard flicking, and then some coughing::
"Is three my favorite number? NO, IT'S F&$#ING NOT! Deadline day has come and gone, and there isn't much left that can be done here. It's unfortunate. But the only way this will turn around is by the players who wear the jersey, supposedly proudly, to take this as a measuring stick and turn this bullshizznit around before I explode! And not, not the type of explosion that will go on in this office later when those two, um....., pretty ladies will be here." ::a long pause, and then hysterical laughing ensues::
"Anyhow, back to hockey. This team can't buy a win right now. So, you are hearing it here first, I will PERSONALLY be at BOTH games of our home in home series coming up against Hamilton. I will see who really needs a kick in the rear, and who doesn't. For those who do not, maybe they can join me with my...um...pretty ladies at some point later on. But this needs, and MUST stop, like, yesterday." added the fed up GM. You can hear the anger, yet, almost sinister joker like tone in his voice.
"I'd like to thank you all for taking the time to listen to me spew this crap out of my mouth. No go write some non-sense stories and make our fans happy!" ::the phone then hangs up and no one on the line was able to answer any questions::
And just like the GM stated, three losses in a row for a team that was once looking good in Conference 1, now barely holding on to the eight and final playoff spot. A crucial home in home coming up with Hamilton. And a hungover coach last viewed sleeping in the players locker room.
What has happened in Binghamton? We hope it changes, very, very soon!
