The Binghamton Senators let one slip away, and not only in a deal to build the club up for the ASHL playoffs.
As the deadline came and gone, Binghamton stayed quiet. "We didn't feel that making a move at this point and time would be beneficial, as most of the other GM's were looking for sexual favors involved in order to get things done" said B-Sens GM Anthony Curatolo.
"And then, speaking of favors, we didn't do ourselves any as we let one slip away last night. I don't really know what happens at this point but this club better get back on track. I've told coach Reirden he's got to get his players heads out of their asses, or i'll be rearranging his" added an unhappy GM Curatolo.
This all coming off a lose to the Jokers, in OT, by a final of 2-1. A game where the B-Sens looked to be the better team but just came up short.
As for the standings, it's stable. The B-Sens hold a six point lead over the ninth seed, but are only five points out of sixth.
"For the bottom portion of Conference 1, it's a seeding that remains up for grabs" stated coach Reirden.
He's right. 15 games remain and the points are there.
The B-Sens travel to Norfolk and then return home for two games against Hartford and Rochester.
"We keep staring at the papers, and seeing that sixth slot available, and we want to get it" said team Captain Bruno Gervais.
The Admirals are up next, and the B-Sens need to get back on the winning track.
