::within the conference area of the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena, reports are lined up as a press conference has been scheduled for 3:45 p.m. EST by the American Hockey League. A few reporters are observed seated awaiting the arrival of the news that has come down within the NSHL. An unidentified male is observed making his way to the podium, and in front of him is a name plate which reads "Anthony Curatolo - GM". Reporters are observed scratching the few hairs on each head seated. Anthony taps the microphone, clears his voice, and then begins to speak::
Good afternoon all. Thank you for coming out today for this impromptu press conference. I'm glad all four of you could make it. I'm gonna cut right to it, so don't expect to ask any questions. Turn your d**n recorders on, and listen to the crap that is about to spew out from these lips.
My name is Anthony Curatolo. I have been interviewing with Nathan Hickerson who you all know is the President of Hockey Operations and General Manager of the Ottawa Senators in the NSHL. I received the call last night that I will be taking over control of the Binghamton Senators, and I am honoured to be here today.
My mission, well, that's simple. To provide the best possible on-ice product for the B-Sens to be part of the upper echelon here within the lower ranks of the NSHL. This is an organization built on pride and I plan to carry on with that tradition. I've spoken with Head Coach Todd Reirden, and team captain "chef" Bruno Gervais and they both seem to share the same philosophy that I vision. Lucky for me, Nathan and myself have that same outlook as well and it all centers around not shizznitting the bed with that players brought here to perform.
What will go on, from this point forward, is simply what's best for business. Coach Reirden better have his players ready to step it up a notch because things are about to change and that time starts now.
I'll save all the rest of the gory details for another time. I'll pay my respects and thank you all for being here today. But now, I have work to do.
