With this being Jamie's last season in the NsHL, the Calgary Flames are entertaining offers.
On March 7, 2013, Jamie signed a 2 year extension with EC KAC of the Austrian Hockey League (EBEL) through to the 2014-15 season. The 2013-14 season will make it over 3 and half seasons not playing in North America.
Jamie has been a very productive player for the Flames since arriving in a deal with the NY Rangers back in my second year as GM of Calgary. In his time in the NsHL, Jamie has been one of the most durable players around, missing only 7 games in 10 full seasons. Playing 813 games he scored 211 goals and 320 assists. This past season was only the fourth time a Flame has played the whole season and recorded zero penalty minutes. The others were Cal O"Reilly (twice), Fernando Pisani (split between Tampa and Calgary), Tomas Kopecky (split between Florida and Calgary).
Needless to say, I would like Jamie to retire from the NsHL as a Calgary Flame, but, if you make me an offer I can't refuse, then "Lets Make A Deal".
