Chilliwack, B.C., - The Chilliwack Bruins have made it to the AsHL Finals for the first time in franchise history. They will have to wait one more game to discover who there opponent as the Citadels (SJ) and Frostbite (PHX) will be going seven.
"Goals have been pretty hard to come by all year, except from our big line. However, we got some fine offensive performances tonight and to be brutally honest the score (5-2) flattered the Marlies. We are thankful for the extra rest, but the boys would have been ready to go tomorrow if we had to. That was a good team over there and it was extremely tight the whole series except for this game," said Coach Don Hay.

Congratulations Ron! That is a very strong AsHL club... won't be long before we are saying the same thing about your NsHL 'Canes... good luck in the finals.

Thanks. I hope it won't be too much longer for the big club to actually make the playoffs!
