The Leafs will entertain offers on the following AsHL players:
Levi Nelson C Steven Zalewski C/LW Peter LeBlanc C/LW Toby Petersen C/LW/RW Paul Szczechura C/LW/RW Christian Hanson C/LW/RW Thomas Beauregard RW Aaron Boogaard RW Brett Carson D Neil Petruic D Dennis Persson D Kevin Regan G
Will consider deals for a veteran forward or D with an expiring contract, or for similar young AsHL players in return (note that most of these guys are pretty young themselves - just looking to find a better mix on the farm or add a bit to the NsHL roster).
Prospects readily available: Zac Rinaldo C/LW Anthony Nigro C Bryon Froese C Corbin McPherson D Jere Salinen RW Vili Sopanen RW Justin Courtnall LW Bryce Swan RW
Looking for mid rounders or mid level prospects for Rinaldo or McPherson... will consider later rounders for the others (in some cases in combo deals).
We certainly are not in sell mode, but are not looking to make a big splash, if at all, on the trade front to add players.
The NsHL roster is pretty much off limits unless it is a "hockey trade" for players of similar skill (same goes for the prospect list), but I will not be around much this weekend due to my son's hockey tournament, so please be patient if I am slow to respond. Try e-mail first, but I will try to get to ICQ as much as possible - likely not until Sunday, though, and that will depend on where Hayden's team sits in the standings (2 - 0 record with a 2.00 GAA so far, and he was first star and second star in the two games today!).
Happy hunting - wish I could be more active this weekend!

Update... won another 2 games, meaning we ran the table 4 & 0... phenomenal clutch glove hand save preserved the win with about 30 seconds left in the final game... made the final 4 of 13 (duh) and will be playing at least one game, possibly 2 tomorrow... so apologies if I am not available... will be scouting a bunch of 9 & 10 year-olds ;P
Look for me on line later in the evening at best... I hope to be around after leaving Chilliwack.... if we lose in the playoff round, I will sadly be available sooner.

I'm sure this is not the first time you've been seen around 9-10 year olds .. at least this is for hockey.

Thanks everyone... In case anyone missed it, we finished second in the tournament, with the only loss coming in the final game against a stronger and older (mostly second years vs our mostly first years) Langley team. We led 3-1 after 1, but our opponents were relentless and broke through for 5 in the second, including the winning goal which was deflected in by one of our defensemen. Our kids were really upset, especially Hayden (goalies often feel like the goat even when they are not), but they played fantastic all weekend. Six games in 3 days. They outscored the opposition 34-20 including the loss. Every game had a different boy really shine in some way. This team has had a fantastic season. They won a tournament in Vernon in November, finished second out of 13 teams this weekend, won their tier of league playoffs (second tier which would put them about 7th of 48 house-level teams in our region), and got to play intermission games at a Langley Rivermen (BCHL) game, Abbotsford Heat (AHL) game, and Vancouver Canucks game. Only 9 teams per season are lucky enough to play at the Rog. Magical year... now they just need to win the Langley Cup, which is the final tournament (they won they first game of it Tuesday against a club that creamed them earlier in the year). Okay... I'll stop bragging now. Thanks again for all the support. And Mark, you'd only be the second team to scout him - Hayden was on the ice with Ken Hitchcock last season, so Columbus beat you to it
