Up against a stout Calgary club the Boston Bruins were able to hand the Flames their first regulation loss by slipping 2 past Carey Price in the final period. Chris Clark began the scoring for the Flames netting his first of the season with the assist from Jamie Lundmark at 0:54 of the first frame. That was all the offense the visiting team could muster and the Bruins rallied in the 3rd getting one from Tim Connolly at 7:48 (his 8th of the season) and another from Jeff Tambellini at 10:19 (his second). Claude Giroux had helpers on both and Christoph Schubert had an assist on the Connolly score. This is the second win in a row for the Bruins under their new GM and he "couldn't be more pleased with the effort form the guys wearing the black and yellow sweaters".

Calgary had plenty of offense last night, look at the shots, we just couldn't put more than 1 puck past your goalie. Excellen game, we'll just have to start a another long streak starting today.
