My name is Kyle Wahlgren and I am currently a Marketing Director for a nationwide Insurance company. On the side I currently own and run a Chicago Blackhawks blog - www.chicagosportsauthority.com. I have always had a desire for hockey and came across the NsHL a while back. While my interest peaked at the time, I knew I did not have the time to commit to what seems to be an amazing Sim League. While time has changed and life situations have sorted themselves out, I am now looking for an opportunity to gain experience by starting with an AsHL team. Becoming a part of an organization would be the first step in what will be a successful career as an NsHL GM. Thank you for your time and should anyone need to contact me, please e-mail me at kwahlgren36@gmail.com.

Also here is my official application:
Full Name: Kyle Wahlgren
Located: Janesville, WI
Team Preference: Don't really have an organizational preference. Obviously, being a Blackhawks fan would make that my number one choice.
[Press Release]
Today the Chicago Blackhawks made a surprise announcement to name Kyle Wahlgren as their new General Manager. After their ups and downs to open their defense of a Stanley Cup, Rocky Wirtz decided to take a step in another direction. While many may be surprised in the strategy, Wahlgren will provide a breath of fresh air.
Stan Bowman, former GM, was unavailable for comment, but he left with his head held high and a Stanley Cup ring on his hand. Nothing can be taken from the 2009-2010 Stanley Cup championship season, but a pressuring fan base desires strict success. After results have been mediocre at times a different route needed to be taken.
Wahlgren will harness his competitive business mentality and be ready to make abrupt changes in terms of coaching changes and role fulfillment. This year the Blackhawks have grown accustom to inconsistent defensive play and have drawn strong criticism for a lack of effort. With a stern mentality and a few player acquisitions, the Blackhawks will hope to climb back into playoff contention come Spring 2011.
[End PR]
Age: 26
Other information: I currently am the Executive Marketing Director of SAS insurance development. I have a Bachelors Degree from University of Wisconsin-Platteville in Business Management. Aside from my full-time position, I also own and operate Chicago Sports Authority, a web-site/blog dedicated to the Chicago Blackhawks.
