Well, I'm f**king drunk. Sitting here in my basement, watching f**king Forest Gump...Canadian Club is a wonderful drink, and it'll never let you down...not like my f**king Raiders...God d**n, what the hell is wrong with them?

I'm not quite sure why I'm writing here, just that, we've got a d**n pub, nobody ever uses it, and I love booze.

Forest Gump just told Jenny that he's not a smart man...I imagine after free agency is all said and done, some GMs will say the same thing...

That bitch Jenny just left his house...f**k her...

So...if I ever make it out for an NsHL draft, how many GMs think they could actually go the distance at the bar with me? Who can drink to the end with Greg Stack? The challenge is out there if I ever make it...and God d**n do I ever hope it's this coming season, but something tells me my God d**n wedding in August is going to f**k me over...lol

Well, girls, I look forward to another season...and I demand delightful drunk posts like my own here more often...don't let me down...

Wow. Very nice Greg! Canadian Club is AWESOME btw. So very good. I hope you can make it out for a draft. I'll try to drink with you, but I already told Los I would drink with him. I might be able to pull double duty though.

Grandpa Henderson is going to tell you that I'm not allowed to drink. Just ignore him. As you know, jager is my drink of choice, but we can do whatever. I just hope you can make it out man. It really is a great time. I would definitely encourage any of the boys who haven't made the trip to do so. So much fun.

Greg...take it easy man. Booze and Forest Gump is a dangerous proposition! You need to watch something a little less high brow...maybe some American Beauty or Patch Adams or Goonies. There ya go. Get drunk and watch some Goonies. Can't go wrong with that.

Last draft, Rob took me to some bar, where not only did I surpass little Robbie 1.4% alcohol drinks, but I even slammed some history teacher about 54-40 or Bust!!!! That was awesome.

If my bro Rob is up for this challenge, then as his friend and draft compatriot, I shall stand side by side and drink with you. I may be a lush, but I sure as hell am not done like Roger by 9:38pm.

When I start to slow, I know my man Robbie can pick me up. And Greg, if you can make it to the 2010 draft, (I will be there), please feel free to stop for a picture underneath the Canadian Flag I have hanging there. That would be cool! I really pay homage and respect the owners at Thursday's for allowing me to hang the Maple Leaf there.

Just get your ass down there. Don't talk about it! DO IT! For anyone in this league who hasn't been......Let me just say it's true when you hear "You're missing out" from one of the guys. The draft has been one of the best travel experiences of my life, and I look forward to doing it again next year.

The last couple years I've been down there it's been the same scenario with Roger. Anyone else reading this can fill in the blanks between the lines if I've missed anything!

1) During the season, trade away all of his draft picks until Rog's first pick is somewhere near the end of the fourth round.

2) Talk to people leading up to the draft about how Rog's team is handcuffed heading in, and he can't swing any deals to hurt his team.

3) Arrive in Beaver County the Thursday leading up to the draft, and start drinking until Cherni and the locals show up.

4) Have a heart to heart with Cherni about Rog's team over a couple shots of jaeger and listen to Rog tell him how Rog has no one to draft and his Sabres are going to suck this coming season.

5) Friday at Draft Eve at Thursdays, watch Gorbs get to the bar early, positioning himself ever so calmly as to always have the jaeger in view behind the bar.

6) GM's start to arrive at Thursdays. Some of us have been there for hours. Gorbs is still playing nice drinking his coke, and grabbing a bite to eat.

7) 7pm, and the Cawker Clan arrives. Roger looks scared because he knows what's coming next. But really he's rubbing his hands together knowing it's time.

8) 7:01pm, Ralph Cawker sees Gorbs and throws his arm around him and asks Rog if it's time for a Jaeger.

9) 7:02pm, Gorbs politely and respectfully goes through his plan of pleasantly declining the jaegers saying "NOT THIS YEAR".

10) 7:03pm, Ralphie won't have any of it, and starts buying, and Gorbs starts shooting.

11) 7:09pm, Gorbs gets this look on his face, like "I've got all you bastards fooled again" and he starts doing his loud rounds with all the GM's at Thursdays.

12) 8:15pm, Gorbs starts the high fiving and the hugs to everyone.

13) 8:37pm, after a couple more shots, Gorbs needs another heart to heart with Cherni, however this time, there's more vulgar, about how his team sucks.

14) Mike Henderson, sober as can be, starts wondering aloud if Roger has had enough and if it's time to take him home?

15) The Twin Towers know that Roger's good to go until at least 10:37, so Mark buys another shot.

16) Gorbs is saluting the juke box and we haven't hit 9:00 yet.

17) Rich De Chellis feels it's time rub it in that he's the CHAMP to Gorbs. Henderson did it the year before as well. Which Roger starts leaning in with the middle finger, telling his woe is me story about his lack of draft picks.

18) It's 10:37. and Gorbs has already been passed out on the couch for 16 minutes (or bar stool), and it's time to get him tucked into bed.

19) A hung over Gorbs is at Thursday's bright and early for the draft. Little does anyone know that he's about to make some major moves.

20) Only Gorbs knows his stories of last night while in a drunken stupor were to help butter people up for picks and quality players.

21) The draft begins, and underneath the table, Gorbs starts wiping his hands, as his personal blood letting is about to begin.

22) We get thru the first four picks, and that's where Gorbs starts making his moves.

23) Next thing you know, Roger has two or three of the top 20 picks, as well as he's landed some superstar from somewhere else, and we all sit there wondering how the hell this got done.

24) Gorbs licks his chops and orders a burger and a coke from Tina (Adam's Mom) who works at Thursdays.

25) And Right there, Gorbs knows his plan has worked perfectly yet again, all due to Jaeger.

I should have been in the top 5 for busting balls about being the champ, if only my good friend jack would have been there. I would have made at least line 2. anyway no mention of Roger and I being the bean bag toss champs, no way will I say corn hole...
