Ottawa, ON- The Calgary Flames want to wish their following prospects and their countries the best of luck during the 2009 WJC.
Canada
C Chris DiDomenico Chris was a 5th round draft pick in the 2007 draft. The Toronto native went unselected in the OHL draft, but received a call from the Sea Dogs, who were desperately searching for talent, and never looked back. Chris is on the small side at 5'11 and only 170 pounds but has overcome his size deficiencies so far with excellent hockey sense.
United States
D Jonathon Blum Jonathon was a 1st round selection of the Flames in the 2007 draft. He is presently having a career year playing for the Vancouver Giants in the WHL. In 28 games he has 14 goals and 44 points.
RW Jimmy Hayes Jimmy is a 2nd round selection of the Flames in the 2008 draft. Hayes has a big body, works hard and plays very well in a team concept. With his size, you expect Hayes to be a punishing power forward.
