According to ESPN and other multiple sources Hasek will hang'um up for good. Again.
I have a feeling it will stick this time.
Honestly, even at his best I was never a Hasek fan but he was entertaining to watch in his heyday.

Personally, I always thought Hasek was over-rated. That doesn't take away from his talent or accomplishments. Maybe it's because I didn't like that ugly helmet he wore??? Either way, the one thing, back in my journalism days, that I could never understand, is how often he got away with either diving, illegal sized equipment, or throwing his stick. He was always throwing his stick and rarely called for it. Bugged me!
Either way. He's a first ballot Hall of Famer for sure.

He is gone for good this time, he is 43 and was relegated to the bench during the finals. I personally think the Red Wings would have done it with him in net, anyway.
Oh well, I have always liked Osgood so at least he won the Cup!!

Osgood is one of the most underrated goalies in NHL history... certainly in my memory banks.

Hasek will retire in the NsHL too. Look for a press release out of the Avs camp shortly.
