Alright, I've put this off for far too long. I want to know what you guys listen to. Just throw out some music you like. I'm always looking for more myself, so anything is good.
Here's a list of some of what I listen to just to get things rolling:
AFI (my favorite band btw) At The Drive-In Bad Astronaut Bad Religion Billy Talent Blink-182 Blur Brand New Bright Eyes David Bowie Deftones Foo Fighters Gallows Green Day Incubus Led Zeppelin Minor Threat Muse Nirvana No Doubt Oceana (my brother's band…haven't heard much though) Pearl Jam Pixies Queen Radiohead Rancid Refused REM Rise Against Ryan's Hope Saves The Day Sick Of It All Smashing Pumpkins Sublime The Mars Volta The Offspring The White Stripes Tiger Army Tool Tsunami Bomb Zebrahead
If you feel like taking shots at me for anything listed here...that's fine and well. Just make sure to post something I can look into listening!

Andrew has a great list ... it works for me too ... i'll add a few on to his list:
Doobie Brothers Supertramp REM Bon Jovi Trans Siberian Orchestra (perhaps the weirdest concert i ever attended ... very good ... but seeing grandparents sitting next to heavy metal rockers was very weird.)

AN OUTRAGE! I can't believe I left The White Stripes off my previous list. That kills me.
Anywho...gotta agree with Andrew on Hendrix and Petty. Love them. Rush is AMAZING as well.
Mike...thank you for listing REM. Glad I'm not the only one here who likes them.

I think thats about it for music you guys know about, then outside of that I like HIPHOP, but mainly underground not much of the mainstream crap you hear on the radio. But some kind of famous I listen would be:
Jurassic 5 KRS ONE Mos Def Talib Kweli Cunning Linguists Outkast Cypress Hill Dr. DRE Eminem Immotal Technique Method Man 2PAC

I'm only going to name the absolute best on my list....the music that you listen to and you absolutely can't change the channel or push the "next song" button on your i-Pod:
Van Halen (either David or Van Haggar, I love em' all) Rush Live Motley Crue Guns N' Roses U2
There are a few other hair groups that need to be mentioned:
d**n Yankees (oh yeah, it's Ted Nugent reborn) Jackyl (don't pretend you don't love the song "Down on Me") Firehouse (oh yeah, "Don't treat me Bad," either.) Kixx ("Don't close your eye eeeeeee eyeeeeesss!) Poison (Anytime three out of the four guys in the band could qualify as the hottest girl at your fraternity party, they need to be included)
I'm sure there will be others....stay tuned and hope Detroit Dave doesn't reply to this as the list will be filled with a whole mess of pathetic bands you have never heard of. Mainstream stuff is still cool, Dave!!!!!
