I'm positive right now , but Goodenow and Betteman are pure clowns so i doubt the season will start in October .

I voted for "Not sure but I'm praying for one" because right now it seems as if there won't a season. However, the off season will be a good to for the CBA to be negotiated.
If there is a lockout, to many veterans will leave the NHL and the league won't be the same for a while. I bet you the following players won't return (just to list a few): 1. Ed Belfour 2. Steve Yzerman 3. Chris Chelios 4. Mario Lemieux 5. Joe Sakic 6. Mats Sundin 7. Ron Francis 8. Brett Hull 9. Joe Sakic 10. Peter Forsberg
Those are some all-time greats and it will take some time for those players to be replaced.
Any other opinions?

I think Mario Lemeiux and Ron Francis will retire regardless.
Stevie Y will probably retire if there is a lock out and play if there isn't one.
If there is a lock out everyone you listed (except MAYBE Forsberg) will come running back to the NHL, they'd just play elsewhere to stay in playing condition and make some chump change (compared to what they'd make in the NHL.)

We'll lose a lot of players if there's a lock-out
1. Ed Belfour- he'll probably return 2. Steve Yzerman- done w/ a lock-out 3. Chris Chelios- done w/ a lock-out 4. Mario Lemieux-done w/ a lock-out (maybe either way) 5. Joe Sakic- he'll return 6. Mats Sundin- he'll return 7. Ron Francis- done either way 8. Brett Hull- definelty done w/ a lock out 10. Peter Forsberg- probably be back, but you never know with his injury history.
add others though....MacInnis, Messier, Lindros???, Roenick??? Hasek (maybe either way)

FYI out of Pittsburgh gentlemen- Mario Lemieux has every intention of playing next season if there is a season. That is what the newspapers, Fox Sports, and the local news have reported.

Of course he was also reported healthy this year, and we saw how that turned out...I think his real intent is to play in the World Championships, but I do think he'll play if there's no lock-out next year.
