GMs,
The 2006 NsHL Cup playoffs will begin Monday, April 3rd at 3pm. You can access playoff central by going to the mainpage and clicking on the "PLAYOFF CENTRAL ICON". the league files can be accessed either in playoff central or on the mainpage. Best of luck to everyone that made the playoffs. My apologies for the short comings of the sim. We've found a bug this season with the sim and we hope they rectify it.
Washington is in, and Carolina is out. My apologies for any false hope or disappointment this caused anyone. We've all learned a little something this year.
NsHL Draft Lottery will be held Tuesday, April 11th at 8 pm. We will be in the NsHL Chat room to announce it.
I want to personally thank each and every GM of this great sim hockey league. It is you that make this league competitive, entertaining, and fun. You are truly the backbone of this great league and if it weren't for the quality we have in the GMs here, we would not have the kind of success that I only dreamed we would have when we started this whole thing.
The off-season is a busy time too for the NsHL GMs with signings, etc. I will be getting to work shortly after the playoffs on the re-rates and starting the sequence for next season. I look forward to all of this. Stay in contact and keep in touch with your agents and the BOD over the break.
Finally, I would like to say thanks to the Commissioner of the AsHL -Adam Taylor for a fine hockey season. He's done a great job with that league and he deserves a lot of credit. It's more than just uploading webpages. It takes a lot of hard work to do the daily operations of the league and he's done a fine job.
I want to say thanks to my staff. Mike Henderson, Mark Kopsack, and Jeff Traver. These guys work hard every day in the league to make it a realistic and sometimes irritating experience for you GMs. Remember that these guys aren't getting paid to do this, they are adding something that not many other leagues have. Keep it in mind the next time you want to rip your Agent's head off......I know, sometimes, I want to plant mine 6 feet below my lettuce patch.
And finally, I want to thank each and every GM of this league. The BOD can 'set everyone up', but it's the great GMs of this league that have to 'knock it down'. I say this with great sincerity. This is the best crew of GMs I have EVER been involved with. Your knowledge, dedication to realism, and hard work is unmatched and outstanding. I would like to shake every one of your hands this season for another successful NsHL season. If you come to the NsHL Entry Draft (like I know a lot of you are doing), then I'll get to do that personally.
Thanks guys for making 2005-2006 NsHL and AsHL seasons a great success!
Sincerely,
Nathan Kopsack
Proud NsHL Commissioner
P.S. We'll be again purchasing two NsHL Cups this season. One for the winning GM and one for the league office. We will also be adding an AsHL Cup as well this season as the challenge to win at that level is very high as well. This is our way of rewarding you guys on your hard work. Good luck, gentlemen
