Round 1 of the Unrestricted Free Agency period will begin on Friday, September 2 at 3PM EST.
If you do not have your restricted free agent qualifying offers into your respected agents by Friday then your restricted free agents become UNRESTRICTED (which means everyone can bid on them, sign them, and you will NOT receive unrestricted free agent loss compensation).
Agents, please send me the list of qualifying offers that your teams have made by Thursday September 1 at 9PM
Please send each team separately
Please title the e-mail Team Name's Qualifying offers.
The lists should include:
Player name, age, current salary, and qualifying offer.
Round's 1 and 2 will have an equal amount of talent as I plan on splitting up players that have equal amounts of skill. For instance, John Leclair and Ray Whitney will be in separate flights.
If you have any questions please contact me at makopsack@yahoo.com. Other than that I expect to have your qualifying offers in by Thursday, September 1, at 9PM.
Thank you.

Round one will end Wednesday at noon. That's a six day period. Clones, I realize there's a joke in there somewhere, so I'll beat you the punch. No emails from Mike Piazza or your wives or anyone else on this topic.

Yeah, that's two years in a row. Hopefully, you get to stay the full day next year. The draft is far more fun in person. It would be great to get twice as many GMs in person next year. Let's get the Adrianos and the Gavin Gears out to Pittsburgh.

I've been to Pittsburgh once, only once....it scares me!.... SEriously it would be fun, perhaps one year but its hard to break away from the family for a 7hour road trip.
