Shane Lilge has resigned from his GM position in Chicago. Below is the letter he wrote to the Commissioner's office and I thought i'd just share it with everyone:
Hi Nate,
It is with much regret that I must resign from the NsHL. With my work schedule increasing and another business I may be involved with soon I don't have the time to commit what this league deserves.
If the league wasn't doing so much and being run so well I wouldn't do this. It's just not fair of me to not put in the kind of time such a great league deserves. I am so very impressed with what you guys have built and the NsHL is reaching and often exceeding what I expected a great league would have. Unfortunately my career needs to take a front seat at this time.
I would like to thank you and everyone involved in the NsHL for what you've done. I will do my best to run the team until you find someone, but I believe you have a line-up of people wanting to get involved. If you do have someone ready I don't want to submit the PDP's when the new GM could jump in and place them how they want. Following is the my PDP's incase you don't want to hold off for the next GM.
Again, thank you for your hard work and for allowing me to be a part of a great league.
Sincerely, Shane.
He was a good GM and left Chicago in a great position to be successful in the future. He will be sorely missed.
We have a replacement but are waiting an official announcement to officially name the new GM of the Chicago Blackhawks.
I want to wish Shane the best of luck in his new endeavors.
Nathan Kopsack NsHL Commissioner
