Rule variations for NHL re-rates:
New rule (which has been discussed by the B.O.D.) will be EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:
Each team has two NON transferrable NHL re-rates each season for players 26 years of age or younger (this has not changed)
OR
Each team can opt for one NON transferreable NHL re-rate each season for players 30 years of age and younger.
We call this the Mikka Kiprusoff rule.
When NHL re-rates are due, you have the choice of selecting ONE of the above NHL re-rate packages. This will be added to the constitution and will be EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. I will also be emailing everyone with this new information.
Also, stay tuned. If there is no NHL season, we may modify the whole process for this season but we will cross that bridge when we come to it.
Thanks for your cooperation for the following rule change.

Just to clarify...
This is being put in place immediately right?
So does that mean it is in effect for this season, cause we've already gotten all the re-rates for this year, correct?
Or does it just mean that it will be in effect for the next off-season?

Next off-season, but the rule COULD effect players values THIS season. JUST FYI.
