The BOD used the same percentage probability chart that the NHL uses to determine who gets the first pick in the 2004 NsHL Entry Draft.
In other words, Nashville had a 25% chance of getting the first pick.
That draft was held yesterday evening at our weekly Board of Director Meeting. The 2004 Entry Draft Order will be as follows:
1st Pick.........Montreal Canadiens 2nd Pick........Nashville Predators 3rd Pick.........Pittsburgh Penguins 4th Pick.........Chicago Blackhawks 5th Pick.........New York Rangers 6th Pick.........Phoenix Coyotes 7th Pick.........Minnesota Wild 8th Pick.........Carolina Hurricanes 9th Pick.........Columbus BlueJackets 10th Pick.......Edmonton Oilers 11th Pick.......Buffalo Sabres 12th Pick.......Florida Panthers 13th Pick.......Dallas Stars 14th Pick.......Washington Capitals ---------------------------------
Congratulations to the Montreal Canadiens!
You may now scout accordingly.

What luck! 14th of 14th! Anyways, the Capitals are hoping to have a strong draft and take their young talent into the 2005 season! Watch out for the Capitals next year guys with Eminger, Gordon, Yonkman, Pettinger, Abid, Ouellet, Vasicek, etc.!!!

Thas's a lucky day for the Montreal Canadien . The team is glad to have the opportunity to add a franchise player to the young lineup .
Thank you spencer , but with the 1st pick overall i don't think we will have much scouting to do ;D

Actually it would be the Islanders in the 30th spot for winning the Stanley Cup.

Really? I always thought they went by points after the lottery. I'll change it.
