Now that the excitement of the trade deadline has passed and things have calmed down a bit I would like to formally announce that there are three player agents that will be serving the players, the GMs, and the NsHLPA. This division of the league will help give each team the ability to sign more detailed contracts and will ultimately lead to a much more "realistic" approach to contract negotiation.
The NsHLPA will also be looking at adding more employees in the offseason as I know some of you have expressed an interest in becoming part of the league hierarchy and specifically in the capacity of the NsHLPA. As the NsHLPA and it's current affiliates look to make the NsHL experience that much more realistic and more fun(without making it more difficult) we may be contacting some of you that have expressed interest.
I am going to ask each of the specific player agents to contact your teams individually in hopes that you can begin building repoire with your respective owners.
Here is how the league is broken down:
Mark K.-----------------Mike H.--------------Bob F.
St. Louis------------Columbus-----------Colorado
Chicago-------------Nashville-------------Calgary
Detroit--------------Atlanta---------------Edmonton
Ottawa-------------New Jersey----------Minnesota
Boston--------------NY Islanders---------Vancouver
Montreal------------Philadelphia---------Anaheim
Tampa Bay---------Pittsburgh------------Dallas
Washington--------NY Rangers----------LA Kings
Florida---------------Toronto--------------Phoenix
Carolina-------------Buffalo---------------San Jose
I want to encourage you to keep the lines of communication open with your player agent as they will be an important part of the future for your franchise.
We, the NsHLPA, are all excited to have a concrete plan and a smaller group of teams to work with in order to make this experience more realistic and more fun for everyone. We look forward to working with you in the future
Thank you.
