Because of time constraints and the amount of teams playing in the double header, I will only play ONE game today (SATURDAY). Please get all lines to me by 6AM E.T. on Sunday. My goal is to sim a double header TOMORROW(SUNDAY 8th). TIMES: In the morning (11AM-1PM) and in the evening on Sunday. (6PM-10PM). Please bare with the commissioner's office as we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Also, all teams must have their PDP's into the Commissioner's OFFICE by NOON ON SUNDAY (8th). I will be adding them to ALL teams before MONDAY's (9th) SIM. Thanks to all for your participation.

Negative. Maybe doubleshifting players isn't paying off. It's a long season.

I've noticed that too. Samsonov, Mogilny and Tucker in one game.....and I have NEVER double shifted.

It's SIM hockey. Injuries will happen. No rhyme or reason..it just happens. I lost my best player to a month long injury (Berezin), what can you do? Not much more else needs to be said, I feel.

Taking a look at your roster and game results Joel, I come to the conclussion other than Sivek the other injuries could be justified. Hossa has an EN of 55 and DU of 41 my calculations have him averaging 20 mins ice time a game, and Souray was injured the game before so I have no idea what his condition was before the but with a DU of 38 and his average of 15 mins ice time a game those two could be understood. I think Sivek was just unlucky and got the worse off of his hit against Rob Zamuner of Boston.

Well put, Adam. You have low DU guys playing 15+ minutes a night....injuries, in all probability, are bound to happen.

well..just my 2 cents...DU has nothing to do with injuries..except how long it takes to heal..not the frecquency players get hurt. The sim has a toggle on it for injuries and such...I get a player hurt every game and that seems a little high..but we all suffer it...so it is even...I guess

DU – Durability is a stat that hardly effects overall in any form. Durability is more of an odds of injury than any other description I can think of. Low DU is possible to go though an entire season uninjured as well as 99DU player getting injured. With DU there is no sure thing, only that your odds of injury increase as DU decreases. The one fact about DU is that a player is likely heal quicker the higher his durability & endurance. DU is usually acquired by prorating the player’s number of games played divided by 82 and applying a similar decrease to the DU number from 99. Leagues & ratings that use a player’s historical durability rather than based on just last year are far more accurate ratings. I highly recommend that EACH and every one of you check out this site: www.surplusmachinery.com/hockey/It has a lot of helpful hints and gives you a primer for each rating. www.surplusmachinery.com/hockey/FHL%20primer.htm --this is the direct link to the FHL Attribute Primer Hope this helps. Just to add my two cents to the topic.
I've had groups of injuries throughout the whole season. It's not happening anymore than it was at the start. I was shocked at how many injuries I was having at first. But everyone is having them, those who haven't up until now count yourself lucky!
It's much more realistic anyways, most NHL teams have many players out at any given time.
