The final standings show Anaheim in second and St. Louis in seventh yet Anaheim is playing the fifth seed Avalanche. Instead the third seed Red Wings are playing the Blues and the Wings should really be playing Vancouver. In the east there are less match up mistakes. I don't need to list the few others as you get the idea. I read all league announcements and emails, did I forget something? What happened here?

Division leaders are seeded 1,2,3. LA is in Anaheim's Division thus Anaheim has to take 4th because 2nd and 3rd are takin by the other division leaders.

That's exactly right, Adriano
1st LA KINGS (Pacific Division Champion) 2nd Detroit RedWings (Central Division Champion) 3rd Calgary Flames( Northwest Division Champion) 4th Anaheim Mighty Ducks 5th Colorado Avalanche 6th Vancouver Canucks 7th St. Louis Blues 8th San Jose Sharks
Division winners get the top 3 seeds. So....you're just missin' something, Jack. ;D
