Hey guys, I will be gone from tomorrow (Friday) at around 6:00 PM EST until late Thursday night which will be April 8th. I will be visiting family for Palm Sunday and then I have Junior hockey try outs in New Jersey Wednesday and Thursday night (Finally getting a fair shot with no politics involved). Thanks and good luck while I'm gone, pray for me please! WOOOOOO! By the way, LET'S GO ISLANDERS!

Ohh ! Sorry about that, but it seems like Islanders are pretty much in. Hence the reason I said "LET'S GO ISLANDERS" rooting for a strong playoff run.

I hate to break it to you Jack, but with the Islanders expected to play against the Tampa Bay Lightning I HIGHLY doubt that they will get past the first round.
I also don't think Rick DiPietro is able to handle the playoff run just yet, it takes time...

It's a shame you had to "break" it to me Spence, because no one has said that yet....
Has Nikolai Khabibulin ever had success in the playoffs? He certainly didn't play well in the last years playoffs nor has he played well in the second half of this season.
While were are on the topic John Grahame doesn't have playoff expierence and hasn't played well in the second half either.
The pressure is on the Tampa Bay Lightning.
You're forgetting we have a perfectly capable BACK UP in Snow who has experience and is a leader who can help DiPietro.
There is far more pressure on Tampa Bay's goaltenders then Rick DiPietro.

This is the Bulin Wall we're talking about. His 2.64GAA in the playoffs is fairly remarkable considering the teams (Jets and Phoenix) he's played on. His %.920 career save percentage(playoffs) leads me to believe it has been the team in front of him not performing well and not him.
This year, it's a different story. They HAVE a team that can score, play defense and can stop the puck with two solid goaltenders. They're beastily.
Do they have some pressure. Sure. Would I bet the Lightning to beat the Islanders? Yep.
Lightning in 6, no more.

1-1 series. Islanders and Lightning will go 1-1 at Isles rink. The Lightning will then sweep the Isles the next two games, and will win the series 4-2. However, if DiPietro played like he did in Game 2 anything could happen./
