There's still a little chance to pick up some Chicago players before deadline.
Most available, depth players for playoff bound teams:
Matt Cullen, 70ov - good defensive specialist
Lubos Bartecko, 68ov - good skills, mobile
Ville Nieminen - 66ov - good DF and IT, excellent playoff player
Jason Strudwick, 67ov - big tough stay at home D
Igor Korolev - 63ov - defensive veteran depth
Scott Nichol - 61ov, defensive center depth
Shawn Thornton - 57ov, a body
Steve Passmore - 67ov, goalie depth (may need goalie in return)
Also I'm still mulling over offers on Kozlov and Daze - both I'd prefer to get a young player in the 70's ov in a deal. I'm more than happy to hang on to these guys. Same goes for T-Bo, I'd move him in a deal for an excellent young goalie but I'm happy hanging on to him.
Zhamnov may be out the door tonight as well as well as Korolev.
Others may be available in the right deal, doesn't hurt to ask but youth is my focus and if you ask about youth I'll want youth in return.
