Los Angeles, Ca.- The rumors around the league are that the LA Kings are reportedly shopping the 7th and 9th overall draft picks in the 2024 Draft in a few weeks. In a statement by Kings GM Nathan Kopsack, he said that, "We are exploring our options. We feel we're real close next season with some very young core players. We're seeing what's out there." said Kopsack.
The Kings GM is said to be looking for goaltending as their main focus but also is looking to add other pieces as well. "We've talked to a few teams but it's mostly non serious tire kicking and offering assets that aren't as impactful as I'd like to this point." said GM Nathan Kopsack. "I'd like to make a splash this off-season. Judging by what is being offered, I'm not certain others are THAT serious" denoted Kopsack.
"We could move down in the draft or trade these picks for players that can play now." said GM Kopsack. "We're flexible. We just want good value for two top 10 picks in the upcoming draft. Our scouts tell us we will get two impactful players at these two selections." concluded Kopsack.
