Hey Everyone,
A few quick updates here;
The All-Star Committee is seeking a new member who has an interest in making the games better with us. Strong administrative skills, and/or Website development skills would be an asset to your application. If interested in joining, please send a quick expression of interest to us at: nshlallstars@gmail.com
Also, be sure to vote on the poll included on this thread - do you want to see a Young Stars game added to All-Star weekend?
As a reminder, ballots for Round 1 of All-Star voting are due no later than: Tuesday, February 6th at 11:59 PM (Eastern Time)
This was sent out by a league-wide email, but in case anyone missed it, here are the rules for Round 1 of voting. Also, if you were missed on the mass-email, shoot a quick message here, and we'll be sure to update our mailing list.
OFFICIAL ROUND 1 VOTING RULES:
- Each General Manager will submit one (1) ballot for their franchise by (or before) the due date/time
- Ballots can not be adjusted after submission
- On their ballot, each General Manager will nominate one (1) forward, one (1) defenseman, and one (1) goaltender from their own team to represent their franchise at the NsHL all-star game
- Ballots are ranked, so if a GM places their goaltender at the top of their ballot, their goaltender would receive the strongest consideration from the All-Star Committee, while #3 would receive the least consideration, etc.
- The All-Star committee will review all ballots and will select the official All-Star representative for each franchise, with strong consideration placed on the priority rankings received from GMs on their respective ballots
- There is no minimum games played requirement for All-Star nominations
- The All-Star committee may, at the sole discretion of the All-Star Committee, select a player not ranked on the ballot for a franchise where it is determined that said ballot was not submitted in good faith, or where it may be deemed necessary by the All-Star Committee to act in order to preserve the perceived best interest of said franchise and/or the All Star Game (example: if you nominate 3 plugs, we may put your strongest performing player on the team instead)
- General Managers will submit their ballot to: nshlallstars@gmail.com
- Ballots are due no later than: Tuesday, February 6th at 11:59 PM (Eastern Time)
- Teams that do not submit their ballot by the due date/time, will have their all-star representative selected by the All-Star Committee
