Anaheim, CA.- Mark Kopsack, GM of the Anaheim Mighty Ducks, visited the practice facility to view the last skate of the preseason. Kopsack commented to a group of reporters, "The guys seem ready, for sure. I know we are all chomping at the bit to get the regular season underway. I have not seen this much enthusiasm and hard work in a group of guys in my life. They really want to show up this season in a big way and I don't doubt that they will."
When asked if the champagne was already on ice he stated, "Heaven's no. I look for the Wild West to be competitive right down to the last game, however, we only have our eye on tomorrow. In this business you have to take it one game at a time. On any given day ANY team can topple you, that's the beauty of this league and we will be on our toes. Mike (Babthingy) has this team ready and I am proud of him for the hard work he has accomplished this off season."
The Anaheim Ducks cross town to take on the re-tooled LA Kings at the Staples Center tomorrow night at 6PM.
