With the conclusion of the 2022-23 playoffs (Congrats Roger and the Edmonton Oilers), attention now turns to the 2023 NHL draft.
The Calgary Flames are making the following players, prospects and picks available leading up the the 2023 draft in Monaca, PA.
From the Flames roster
Brad Hunt DEF: Looking for a late pick in any future draft.
Brad has just completed his best NsHL season at the age of 34, 4g 23a and a plus 4.
With an influx of young defensemen on the horizon, Brad will be hard pressed to find regular minutes on the Flames roster next season.
Joel Edmundson DEF: Look for a late pick in any future draft.
Joel has averaged almost 17 points per season in his 7 year NsHL career. Has just came off a 17 point season and a career season best +11 and has averaged 60 hits a season. He's not a flashy player by any means, but brings toughness and a steady hand on the 3rd DEF pairing.
From the Farm
Ryan Lomberg LW/RW: Looking for a mid pick in any future draft.
Ryan is an excellent re-rate candidate if you wish to use it on a 3rd line energy/pest player. Ryan is very responsible defensively and will pop in a dozen goals a year.
Carsen Twarynski LW/RW: }
Adam Brooks CEN: ..........} Looking for future late round picks
Josh Brook DEF: ..............}
PROSPECTS LOOKING FOR ANY FUTURE PICKS FOR THESE PROSPECTS
