Winnipeg looks to be a lock in the 7th spot.
This is the tightest race for a single playoff spot I've ever seen in the NsHL.
Who will make it? 6 teams for one spot. Chicago is in the driver's seat, can they hold on?

Based on games remaining, Chicago and SJ have a clear advantage. Neither is playing to hot right now tough.

What a race! The schedule is nutty to end the season. San Jose plays each of the last five days of the season, with their final four on the road! Calgary has three of four remaining on the road. Chicago gets Arizona at home in a must win, as they have road tilts in Toronto and Boston to close things out. Nashville plays St. Louis twice. Vegas gets Vancouver tonight then sits until the last day when they host the Sharks. It is going to be absolutely wild and, as this season has shown, it is impossible to predict. It may very well come down to the final day and that Vegas-San Jose game to decide things.

8 Chicago 84 - 2 games left (@ Toronto and @ Boston)
9 Vegas 84 - 1 game left (@ home vs San Jose)

So many possibilities.
What looked like a lock for Winnipeg to be in the playoffs, may not be such a lock anymore.
Winnipeg wins or goes to OT and they're in the playoffs, lose and they could be out.
Winnipeg loses and Chicago and Nashville or Calgary win both of their games, then Winnipeg is out and Chicago and either Nashville or Calgary are in.
Unless San Jose wins all 3 games, then they could be in along with Chicago or Nashville or Calgary and if Vegas wins then San Jose is out.
