Reirden to be Kraken's First Coach

Seattle, WA - The Seattle Kraken are pleased to announce the club's first head coach will be Todd Reirden. Reirden has a long track record in the AHL as a head coach, and a short stint in the NHL as a head coach, and lengthy experience as an assistant.

"Todd has an impressive resume, and will be a strong choice to lead our club into the NsHL. We are confident he can implement a game plan that will make us competitive and difficult to play against," said GM Jade Graber.

The club also announced today that Jeff Daniels will be the first coach of the Seatac Aviators. Helping Daniels on the bench will be former Olympic and NHL goalie Jim Carey, who was coaxed away from running his Medical billing company based in Sarasota, Florida.


Carey and Daniels will be a stylish pair behind the bench for the Aviators
