--Pittsburgh, PA
The Pittsburgh Penguins today made a blockbuster deal with the Washington Capitals. The Pens brought back 2 former Pens. The first, Kip Miller. Miller is a good veteran and skilled passer who will start the season on the 3rd line. Miller will move to right wing and play with Mike Eastwood and newly acquired Jonas Hoglund.
The 2nd player was driven out of Pittsburgh just a few years ago. Jaromir Jagr has returned to Pittsburgh! The superstar right wing and his 11 million dollar contract have come to Pittsburgh for the next 3 years. This was primarily a costcutting move for the Capitals, as the Penguins now must pay 33 million over the next 3 seasons. However, the Capitals did acquire Aleksey Morozov and a 4th rounder. Jagr completes arguably the best line in the NsHL with Mario Lemieux and Martin Straka.
