DETROIT, MI (Hockeytown, USA) -- (PRBonkwire.com) -- April 28, 2011 -- Arriving early yesterday in Anaheim for game seven of the Western Conference quarterfinals, the Detroit Red Wings used their time as an off-day, which was granted by coach Mike Babcock.
"We've got a few guys that are a little banged up," Babcock commented. "We're using the day to celebrate the engagement of a good friend of the team -- Kristin Cavallari."
GM and Owner Dave Bonkosky, who had dated Cavallari years ago, wished her the best and said Jay Cutler was getting a good girl.
But, as is expected with Bonkosky, he wanted to speak nothing of his many celebrity flings with Cavallari, Elisha Cuthbert or Alyssa Milano. Instead, he wanted to speak of his opposition's GM and Owner, Mark Kopsack.
"Mark likes to bitch a lot about having to go to game seven every year," he said. "It reminds me of the time when he was starting out his jazz dancing career in Hollywood."
"He was all, waaa, I have to appear in this Elton John video and waaa, all I wanted to do was appear in musicals and waaaa, why isn't Elton paying me enough and waaaa, why do I have to wear these speedos?"
Little did Mark know, though, when he was complaining about being able to star in Elton's video of "I'm Still Standing" that it would lead to other opportunities.
"Lots of people think that Andrew Ridgely was the second member of WHAM! -- untrue. Before there was Andrew, Mark was right there alongside George Michael singing the sweet, sweet tunes of the famous British superpop group," Bonkosky exposed.
Bonkosky added that Mark's just a born complainerson.
"He blew his chances at turning his dancing skills into worldwide WHAM! superstardom. He's now creating discontent on his team by whining and crying."
"As soon as I'm done with all of you media here, I'm going to call the Waaaambulance and order him some French Cries."
