Los Angeles, Ca.- Since winning their season opener, the Kings have dropped 4 in a row to start the 2023-2024 season. The latest loss came at the hands of their division rival San Jose Sharks by a score of 5-2. The Kings mustered only 18 shots in a listless loss and line up changes are most certainly in the works. "We have to be better." said coach Rod Brind'Amour (a former LA King). "We have the on-ice talent, we just need to get things going here before too much of the season slips away."
There isn't panic with the Los Angeles Kings management. "We brought in some new personnel this off-season." said GM Nathan Kopsack. "We have to be patient and know that the formula will work, it just may take some time. Check back with me at game 20, then we can talk progress." concluded Kopsack.
The Kings are rumored to be putting veteran James Van Reimsdyk on the trading block. "I don't know what you're talking about." said GM Kopsack. "We're going to roll with what we have."
Pundits feel that should the team falter, the team is ripe for a rebuild. Time will tell.
This is IP Freely for LA Kings hockey.
