Ok all you Pitt/BeaverWEstern PA folks, here's the deal as most of you know by now I have never made it out to the draft because every single year it falls on the weekend of my wedding anniversary. However this year my band has been doing a lot of weekend touring and we were looking to do Pitt in July. If someone could help me hook up at a good club for live rock music on the night of Sat the 18th (I might be able to do Fri the 17h but Sat works better with our schedule) in Pitt I could come to the draft both days. You guys could even come see the band! Which would be awesome cause I'd love to meet you guys in person....
So anyone connected? Anyone know any club owners... established live music/rock venues are the preference.

Gavin,
Send me a demo and I'll give it to Ed at Thursday's. Where we have the draft is probably the best venue for you guys to play.

I'll shot you a cd if you want to email me your address otherwise I can email you a couple MP3s tomorrow? Whatever you think is best. Does Thursdays often host music? is it in Pitt? or outside?

If I recall from the airport, when Mikey picked me up, it's about 20 minutes. And about 35 minutes from the downtown core. But whatever you do, don't get sucked into eating the permani sandwiches. Those things will be the death of you.

I've got you tenatively booked for a show on Friday night....my friends at Thursday had a resounding "Hell yes!". Just FYI. I need to know if you guys can play a two hour set and some other basic details but we've got lights, we've got sound, and we've got a venue lined up for Friday, July 17th, 2009 at 9PM.

Wow thanks many times over to the Kopsacks! We can fill the night. Usually we play 45min to 1:30 but we can probably add tunes or take a short set break. We find no matter how much people like us; at a bar they still want a short break to chat it up.... I'm sending Nate a demo prob on mon.
