The Board of Directors has looked over your applications and happens to know where everyone is from. If all new GM's could introduce themselves to the league by stating your name, your team, where you are from, and what you do for a living, it would make for nice introductions.
I'll start:
My name is Mark, a.k.a. MediaMark, Director of Media Services, and league Operations. I am the owner of the Anaheim Mighty Ducks and I hail from the Pittsburgh Area. My twin brother, my father and myself own and operate a skilled nursing facility and two assisted living facilities in the Beaver Valley (NW Suburb).

Hello, Gentlemen! Most of you I know very well. I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you a whole lot better as the season(s) progress. The NsHL home office(where I've practically LIVED the last 2 months--Tony and Mark, you can attest to that), is in Pittsburgh, Pa. I am also the GM for the Back in Black LA KINGS. I run a nursing home and two assisted living facilities with the help of my brother and semi-(mostly)retired father. I am now a full time NsHL Commissioner, and loving every minute of it. Thanks to everyone who is participating! Lets have a great inaugural season!

Well this will give everyone a kick I'm sure...
Warrick Nicolson here...
Here is Galston... now before you all run to your atlas and look for it... it won't be on any map you've got I can almost guarantee.
You may however have an easier time locating the city of Sydney.
Couple of clues... Olympics held here in 2000, currently the Rugby World Cup is going off here, best city in the world as voted by millions of tourists year after year... and oh yes - It is in Australia.
I AM Australian, not an ex-pat from North America...
What am I doing in a Fantasy Hockey League?
Good question.
Basic rundown - my core connection to NA is the fact I lived in Sault Ste. Marie and Ottawa for a year back in 1999. Before and after that I do my level best to stay in touch with the great game of hockey, and heck I must be doing a decent job cause for some reason McKeen's Hockey keep publishing my work. I'm a sports journo by trade, and after previous work on Winter/Commonwealth Games might be jetting off to Athens for the 2004 Olympics.
Takes a breath...
Currently I work with 2 to 5 year old kids teaching them basic motor/sport skills a few days a week while I pursue more secure media gigs.
So feel free to say 'g'day' (yes we say that a lot - translation = good day/hello/hi/howdy/yo/wassup etc) I'm predominately on MSN via prodigiousman@hotmail.com but check my ICQ contacts fairly regularly but if you want to talk NsHL best to email me as strangley I'm some 14 or 16 hours ahead of you so I might not be online when you think I should be.
Enjoy the competition, I didn't join to be the Australian novelty...
Regards
Warrick Nicolson Dallas GM
