Hey whoever that GM was, Im also selling mine now. Just wanted to know how to get a good price to sell at. If anyone can make a bid to boost it up for another buyer, it'd be much appreciated. I still have my ebay cherry going and it would help build future trade negotiations down the road with other clubs. Item #270181909856. cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270181909856&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:CA:1123Thanks Isles GM

$30.00 dollars shipping and handling.... better be some d**ned good trade negotiaitons. Honestly I don't know how well that person did... Jack I think it was, maybe Adriano???
But with a starting bid of $40US and $30 shipping, its already $70 for a used machine.

It would be better for you to start with a low BID, to get someone's attention to start bidding. Go a little lower then what you see there for shipping.
Then Rob or myself can you get you up to the price that you are really looking for..

Beware, I sold my Ebay three times on Ebay already. However, it was not to a legit buyer. Each time it was an account hacked by a scam artist, who sent fake Paypal/Ebay emails. The winning bid went between $152.00 to $166.00 each time. They would send a fake Paypal emailing saying they paid $252.00, normally $100.00 over the final bid price. Look at your Paypal account, you will see that money was never transfered. They will then send you an email saying that they transfered the money and will provide an address in Nigeria for you to ship it too. It's all BS, and within a day or two you will get an email from Ebay telling you that the person who won the auctions account was hacked and the auction will be deleted. I will try again to sell my PS2 in the future. I wish you luck and beware of this scam.
The layout of the scam emails will look like official Paypal and Ebay emails. Look for the poor grammar and mis spelled words (this is where you may want to forward a copy to Dave). Also look at the address. Those are hints that it's fake.

The Paypal/Ebay scams are some of the oldest around... but still very popular since you don't need to be very intelligent to 'use teh internets'. Some tips to use for all secure sites you use: forums.ebay.com/db1/thread.jspa?threadID=410433210And you can always just cancel bids from unauthorized Ebay users along the way. I've bought and sold hundreds of items on Ebay and have never had a problem, you just have to use common sense.

Nate, you are one of few people that has a crystal ball and calls it common sense I guess. There is no way to predict that someone is an unauthorized Ebay member if they hack into someone with a legit account, with positive feedback, bid on an item and win the auction. I've never gotten an email from Ebay until after the auction was over.

I've never gotten an email from Ebay until after the auction was over. You said they sent fake Ebay and Paypal emails. This is a common scam even if you aren't buying/selling something on Ebay. If a person truly 'hacked' someone else's Ebay account, then it means someone else fell for the previous scam. I guess the common sense comes in when you realize no one is going to pay you $150-250 for your shizznitty old game console.

I like that proboards replaces 'sh*tty' with 'shizznitty'. For the record, I could never say 'shizznitty'.

Let me know if you want me to bid and how much.. I wonder if I do this if this Scam would be on the Ebay Tips? It should be. as this is essentially a scam, since neither you nor Rob have any intention of actually buying the thang. Ruins it for the bargin hunters.....

Wouldn't you make more by trading tihs in at EB Games or something? Do they even accept them still? I want to get rid of mine too.
