After our Wednesday night board meeting we came to the conclusion that there are several other GMs that deserve serious consideraton. The poll only lets you put up 8 selections, there will be several more of you that are getting consideration for the prestigious Director's trophy.
What a resume builder! Actually, we view this as the most prestigious award we can give. We found all of us wishing we were in the running for it, however, none of the "founding fathers" will be considered during the league's inaugural season.

During the inaugural season, the 'founding fathers' are not eligible for Director's Cup consideration.
As far as the other suggestions, consideration for this award is based on
-media involvement(posts on message board, website),
-activity (daily lines submission, email response time)
-availability (on ICQ and/or can be reached via email easily)
-transaction history (how well GMs did on the 'trade market', free agency, etc.)
-other parameters considered (attitude, NsHL loyalty, etc.)
This is the most prestigious award in the NsHL. The league is working on purchasing an actual award (trophy) to be sent to the winner of this prestigious award.
We are also working on and NsHL Plaque that will have 20 tabs of champions for years to come that will be mounted at the league office. A small cup (stein) will be sent to the winner of the NsHL.
Thank you for your participation this year, guys. You have made this inaugural season truly fun, exciting, and pleasure to be a part of.
Nathan Kopsack NsHL Commissioner

I appreciate the compliment Robert, it means a lot. I do what I can to keep my website updated, and Weekly Newsletter fresh and to try to be a nice GM to my fellow colleagues.

For some reason, I think the Toronto GM Adriano Viterbo has been voting for himself. Noone has posted regarding his vote and he is also in the lead with three votes. As the BOD said, this is unofficial. It is just to get us thinking, so no worries about whether your leading or not guys ! Capitals GM Spencer Cawker

Hey Adam don't you know that 8th and 9th round picks aren't valuable to everyone? Jack what's your take on this subject? I forgot we already "went" there before! Even if you don't think they have merit, at least you met your real daddy as a result. ;D

I voted for Marty, but that's only because I wasn't an available choice!
